Which teams have got the best and most annoying chants, cheers, or any rituals (running out, ace, etc.)

Silly question because the answer is so obvious... Puerto Ricans. I mean seriously theyre really loud and if u cant understand them they can say whatever they want

how bout high schools. i remember new trier or morton or somethin liek that being very very annoying like jumping in a circle before the game. and then maybe either gbn or marist with its jumping in the middle on an ace or kill is funny. but kids like st. pats yelling stuff when their gettin killed is just annoying

after hersey got an ace they all did a cartwheel in the middle... it was just kind of awkward

Except the fact that Puerto Rico is a United States territory, so it really just makes whoever is chanting it look really stupid and ignorant.

This club is now gone but the best chant of all time was by LBC! L-B what, L-B what, LBC, LBC. Great teams which mentally beat some teams before the game was even played. Parents waving black & white skull & crossbones flags. LBC won like 18 medals in 3 years! Mostly gold. It made how good balboa bay does now look silly and they were only around like 6 years, balboa has been around forever.

I am saying that Puerto Rico is a territory of the USA, so chanting "USA" against Puerto Rican teams means nothing, as they are also part of the USA.

Youre simply a puerto rican volleyball player, you are in no means tough or a superior athlete to anybody here, this is a joke that your even making yourself try to look like this... tell us, what happens when teams do get the best of you? you crumble like the little head cases you are... ive seen it, and been part of it actually... you may be loud and showy, but theres one thing you lack that is why many hate you: respect for your opponents. it takes respect to earn it, and it STILL looks like you have none.

its better to act like this and have some fun and have an attitude towards volleyball rather than all of the washed up club teams and coaches who look like they dont even care and are so boring to watch because they dont do anything when they win or lose a point.. why do u think everyone watches puerto rico and teams like the lbc back in the day?? because they got crazier than anyone and people like watching exciting games.. when everyone on a team does it, everyone plays better

that is why we act the way we do...if we just play it would be boring volleyball and if it was boring there will be no reason to play. and we dont want to go all the way from puerto rico for a boring tournament

U guys are good players in general but u need to learn to give credit where credit is due and not talk like everyone hates u. The only reason why alot of ppl don't like u is because u have a mentality that everyone is out to get u and u r better than all of us. Get with reality...YOUR NOT!!! U guys might be good in the younger age groups but when is the last time a puerto rican team has won nationals in the 17s or 18s divisions?

I looked at this post and knew the “LBC won like 18 medals in 3 years” was a slight exaggeration. Derek did a great job putting together winning teams, but not 18 medals in 3 years. Probably his best accomplishment was winning the 18 Gold medal 3 years in a row, 2001 – 2003.
I went back in the records on middlehitter.com and compiled all of the medals from the last ten years. I counted only Open tournament medals, not club medals. Most years records that I found only list 16’s through 18’s. Only recent JO’s have the 14’s & 15’s medal count. During that time The LBC won 8 open medals, 9 if you count the Sultans of Soul 17’s bronze in 2007. They were by far the best club from 2001 through 2003, and yes they were very intimidating. When they all shaved their heads in (I think) Phoenix before the last day, it was so cool. They were a great club. But just to put things in perspective, in that same 10 year period, Balboa Bay won 18 open medals, SCVC won 6 and North Shore, Outrigger, and SMBC each won 5.
Again, these numbers come from a couple of places on Redhawkvb’s wonderful website. I thought The LBC had more medals than that too, but I couldn't find them.

You just come on here and talk about how much better living on the island is than being in the USA, and talk about how much better at volleyball Puerto Rico is, despite the fact that from 17s through Olympic age Puerto Ricans do nothing because they stay 5'10" from age 12 on, and how good their basketball team is for beating the USA ONCE?! And now that it's thrown back in your face it's not okay to do? Come on man.
