i'm sorry but pace got ******edddddd over they are deffinatly top 3 talent in this tournament especially adding mike stefani, but they haven't had good tournaments so cant blame the ranking
jbvb22

someone said pace didnt have a good tournament? Well they took 2nd at the can-am and placed higher then livbc at wisconsin. And were missing one or two players for the nittany.

There are teams ranked ahead of them that did worse in tournaments. And placed lower then they did. Also some who do not even have a bid yet?

WEIRD!!!

Good luck in richmond.

Ytowne will be hosting an event on June 21st at there home gym. IF anyone is interested.

Mostly College Alumni Players, "psu, st franc, juniata, rutgers, mason, spring field, lloyla, ohio state, are the ones off the top of my head. As well as some of the better college club teams, Mens USA A/AA teams and Junior teams.

Incredible, incredible tournament for Pace (though there were quite a few close calls for their 17s and 18s along the way). They win the 18, 17, and 16 divisions, accompanied by a 2nd place in 15s where they really did get robbed by two bad calls late in game 3 - and lost by two points.

I'm not really sure how the Pace 18s will do at nationals. Part of me says that such a small setter in the front court will be an incredible liability; while another part of me says that their trio of pin hitters can match up favorably against any team in the country and will win them matches against the California teams.

Eden also had a nice tournament in the 17 (finalist) and 18 divisions. Even though the 18s lost in the first round of playoffs they were very impressive all weekend and will definitely be a team to look for at nationals.

Other teams that impressed me were RVC's 14s team (who won), Orlando 18s (finalist), and the Pitirre 17 squad.

Actually it was MVP 14s who won the 14s division.

NY Regents exams go until June 24th......lots of School graduations are 25th - 29th.
Tough sell to parents to give a whole weekend prior to one shot comprehensive tests.

NY Public schools are talking about going above the 190 Teacher days while we have parochial schools going to 4 day weeks. Go figure?

Pace 18's are a nasty team... had a great tournament and deserved to win. Mike Stefani is a match-changer and a huge addition. If you watched the semis you know what I mean... Pace was down 24-21 in the first game, sided out and gave the ball to Stefani and he rips a tough serve for a point, then after Warren called a timeout to ice him he rips another great serve for a point. They eventually won 29-27. Looking forward to seeing them at nationals.

Oh they will tell me like in two weeks. Thats how they work.

I know that they will play. they play every year.

I saw a lot of alumni and college players and adult A/AA players at a big Outdoor vball event today.

Most are just finazling teams.
