Just heard ... OCVC is having their tryouts Sunday, 5/10: 9th & 10th grade this year: 4-6 pm; 11th & 12th grade this year: 6-8 pm. I was told they have some spots open on their 18-1s JO team if the players are good enough.

I didn't hear why but I'm guessing the guys who don't play much didn't want to spend the cash to go to JOs but I'm just guessing. And maybe they just wanted some time off before college. Not sure how many spots are open.
