yeah but people can give verbals out now.....and this is the time that the colleges are going to be doing a lot of recruiting

Trust nme my friend that sure that many cannot sign but verbals rarely change. The MIVA schools will do the most in this time period and the East Coast schools are always among the late ones. The West coast schools seem to have alreayd made their splash. The only school to annouce any big signing other thna MPSF sccools were Ball State, Penn State and IPFW. These verbals are commits (in my book) and some of those underclassmen to watch(Volleyball Mag's 25) have no destination as of yet.
There are stilla few quality athletes left and where they will go will soldify a solid team or raise the profile of a up and coming team.

i figured that he would end up at UCSB and they may want him to play MB but he will have to redshirt to let the shoulder get better.

Ok I have a question for anybody but specifically for people in WI who might know. I was looking at the middlehitter.com list of college commitments and I knew of most of players and everyone of the clubs with the exception of one.
Quincy recruit RJ DePouw from Wisconsin Power VBC
Now I have never heard of that club or that player so could anybody perhaps tell me where the club is from, how good it is, how good this player is, etc.
Curiosity has gotten the best of me I suppose.

The club is more known for its girls program. The boys programs is in its second year (I think). One of the clubs director/coaches used to run the spri program so he has lots of contacts.

Jack is a true 7 footer. He played volleyball at Bryant High School in Astoria Queens (New York City). He helped win the city championship in 2005 and won the Heisman Award this season (which is given to the best senior athlete in his sport). Jack has a lot to learn but has both the desire and the drive to become a very good college volleyball player. He has only been playing the sport for four years, so the potential to get better in a college setting with world class athletes and very good coaching is tremendous. He loves the game and is excited about playing at CSUN. You can learn to hit a little harder and to move a little faster but you can't teach someone to be 7 foot. I believe that Jack will do very well at CSUN. It was fun to coach Jack in high school but it is going to be truly exciting to watch him excel in college.

Pepperdine only has like 30% of a scholarship to offer to this class, so dont expect them to pull any big names in. I'm sure they will try really hard to get McGlaughlin next year.
I heard some big players in Orange County were interested in Peppedine, but with almost no money to offer (pepperdine is not a cheap school to attend) they wouldnt come.

Aaron merges. " yorktowne neva" is going to be the new libero for penn state.
And a tone of our kids are going to play in d1 and d2 colleges. When i get the list i shall post it.
Comment on those $$ issues.
Who cares if you get a full ride or partial ride go play ball. 2nd be lucky they give money out at all. I mean most ivoy league colleges are not allowed to give any money to any of there athletes.

The guys 18's coach actually coaches UW Madisons girls team,(I believe it's cuz his sons the setter for power) but the team isn't anything specail, Our club team(Nightmares) and were nothing good(considering we had ppl from only 2 schools i thnk we did all right cuz aaron lang carried us), but yea thats what i have to say...haha
They're kids from around madison basically...the kid who prolly got recruited was their outside(tall kid whos decent) cuz they're setters going to uw oshkosh...otherwise theres no one else on their team worthy of going to any college

Well college costs a ton and for a lot of people so they can't just "go play ball" without putting their families in a bad situation. Pepperdine and Ivys costs close to 50,000 grand a year and playing college athletics does not leave a ton of time to get a job.

To clear things up about Joey Zuziak, the amazing OH from SMBC 18s, he was recruited heavily but the schools couldn't help him out because of no SAT and low grades, Joey is going to go to Pierce College. Pierce is a JC but has produced like 4 olympians like the Barnetts, and even other great players like John Mayer(pepp) Beau Daniels(Pepp) and so many more. Pierce got 2nd in state this year and with Joey coming they can probably do a lot better
