Suprises? Arrowhead and KM getting 3 seeds, and Muktown getting a 2 seed over middleton??
yeah even though KM and AHS havent done a ton they have been solid enough with getting out of pools and AHS is coming on strong and KM has shown they can stick when playing at their best

its interesting how one of the lesser teams in conference gets a higher seed than two teams who are leading them (muk) but hey not everyone can win

Well with out going into too much bascially what it came down to was strength of schedule and quality wins. We had a better winning percentage vs teams currently ranked in the top 16 and also a better winning percentage vs teams not ranked. Also we had a better point differential vs pius even though arrowhead did take a game off them. It was very close and could have gone either way. Arrowhead had 1 quality win over Catholic Memorial. Our big win was vs Tosa West (Kevin and Jordan are still helping me out even during high school, guess they liked their club coaching)

Drew Oswald had 25 against us in four games 2 weeks ago...he was totally unconcious and we couldn' t stop him. Once he gets rollin, he's tough to stop.

Kevin had 27 in 3 games (he sat the 4th) against Greendale last week. There wasn't a whole lot of blocking going on, though.
Kevin (14) and Sam (12) had a nice battle last night. Tosa West in 4, 15-25, 25-16, 25-15, 25-20. Sam's hand didn't seem to bother him much and he attacked well, especially back row. Jordan distributed the ball well to Kevin, Brad Polander and Greg Seebach. The West defense was the key to the match.
Homestead at West on Thursday. Big week for Homestead! Good luck to them and Marquette tonight.

glad to hear sams doing better woulda been a shame for him to have to sit out the rest of the season hes a good player.
i had 25 against muskego earlier this year. oh and fyi about kevins 27 and sitting out the 4th game. if you already win the first three in a match the fourth games stats dont count towards a year total. for like the official total i found that out last year.
and as for the poll i more so wanna see next weeks poll cause i think a couple teams are a little too high or a little too low

How much do the polls mean now that the sectionals are set?
Based on this poll, it looks like sectional #8 and #1 are the toughest.

I agree with #1, but Section 7 (with
a 1 and a 9=10) has a lower (thus
more difficult) ranking than #8 (with
a 4+8=12); when you toss in the
HM's, maybe so.
