Spencer M.
Kent K. Kevin C. Austin Z. Kawika S. Matt A. Max H. Libero is still up for grabs. There are the people that have made it so far. They might be keeping everyone else til they go on their trip for injury reasons. Mike Iandolo is the only one that was cut. |

pretty good lineup there. mike was cut but is still a baller. What I've heard is that the coaches wanted to name the setters earlier and they picked Kawika Shoji and Matt Werle (Juniata DIII National Champ Team Setter) but asked Iandolo to stay and continue to work out. He is the best server at the camp and I've heard from some players that they were very surprised that Andy Read decided so quick on setters because Iandolo was playing better than Werle. They have named a few other players but they have been moving people around in different positions, and some are up for grabs. I have not heard that Matt Anderson is a lock. If the list mentioned is true then it is interesting that they are keeping three high school juniors over college freshmen. All three are very good but none was stellar at the nationals. Carroll was frequently stuffed at the net and Spencer M. didn't seem to have a very strong swing. But these guys have been Andy read's guys for three years now. Possible recruits for Long Beach? To say USA Volleyball is political is a understatement! |

Inafuku was better than Asuka even when he was a freshmen.
Anyway I think Asuka is good but he did not deserve first team all american over Hawaii's Alfred Reft, but thats just my opinion. |

brent asuka was the college national newcomer of the year, starting for the team that was at the top of the charts for most of the season. Inafuku was a junior in highschool...
my predicted starters: OH- Krashaaur OH- McLachlin MB- Holt MB- Zahn OPP- Anderson S- Shoji L- Inafuku |
