San Diego Blows Past Arizona in Three

San Diego, whose regular season climaxed with a win over then No.1-ranked USC back in September, advanced to the round of 16 for the first time in program history with a win over Arizona in the second round. The Toreros are now 26-3 and in the midst of a 17-match winning streak.

San Diego middles Alaysia Brown and Chloe Ferrari both hit above .500 and collected 13 kills a piece, hitting off of setters Jianna Bonomi and Rachel Alvey who collected 24 and 17 assists, respectively.

On Friday, USD will face No. 8-seeded Nebraska for the right to play in the Lincoln Regional Final.
