Sepak takraw also known as kick volleyball has been popular in Southeast Asia since the 1940s but continues to gain momentum throughout the world today. This photo was taken at an ISTAF (International Sepaktakraw Federation) SuperSeries event in New Dehli earlier this year, the first major international sepak takraw tournament ever to be held outside of Southeast Asia. The U.S. fielded a men’s team and is the only non-Asian country to compete in ISTAF events.
