Stetson University's Julie Bassett has gone from the Midwestern city of Wadsworth, Ohio, to competing at the highest level of collegiate beach volleyball. During her freshman season Bassett played in the inaugural AVCA Collegiate National Championships in April in Gulf Shores, Ala.
