At the National Volleyball League’s (NVL) “Best of the Beach” event Sept. 13-15, Olympians played and the best were crowned. London Olympians Jake Gibb and April Ross were named the “Best of the Beach” after battling it out on Bagatelle Beach at the Tropicana Hotel.

Other beach players who participated in the event included Matt Fuerbringer, Casey Patterson, Phil Dalhausser, Sean Rosenthal, Nick Lucena, Traci Weamer, Jen Fopma, Jenny Kropp, Raquel Ferreira, Kaitlin Sather, and others.

The event had a $100,000 purse.
