DJ Roueche 2011 Music Awards

DJ Roueche

As 2012 gets started and we are all making plans for the new year, let’s take this time to reflect on the music that spoke to us in 2011. Unless you were living under a rock, you became familiar with Adele’s latest album, 21. The success of her album was simply amazing; thirteen weeks as the number one album on the charts, six Grammy nominations, and over thirteen million albums sold. What’s even more amazing about this album is it was supposed to be produced by multiple Grammy winner Rick Rubin, the co-president of Adele’s record label, and Adele said no and went with producers she was more comfortable with. 21 turned out to be, in my opinion, the best album of the year.
