DJ Roueche's Favorite Limited Editions and Box Sets

Jimi Hendrix - Winterland

Celebrating a successful 35 years of anything is an accomplishment. In each of those years there is most likely a song or artist that defines that moment in time. Occasionally we need to look into the past to see where our future is headed, and the same goes for music. You can trace the history of our country through what music was popular in every decade: from the birth of Blues and Hip Hop to the takeover of Rock n Roll and Disco. What’s next for music? With artists like Duck Sauce taking cues from the disco era and Lana Del Rey oozing 50’s and 60’s Hollywood Soul, the future may be reminiscent of the past, but with an updated sound. Listening to what has come before us is a great way to see what we can expect in the future. With Volleyball magazine celebrating its 35th anniversary, here is a list of Limited Edition/Box Sets of music that has brought us to where we are today.
