Kim Glass made an indelible impression during her time as an Arizona Wildcat, including being the only Pac-10/Pac-12 player to reach double-digit kills in every career match, and now her alma mater is recognizing her contributions. Glass was inducted into her school’s Hall of Fame, and on Nov. 4 her jersey was retired during intermission of the Wildcats game against Oregon State. Her number 86 jersey will now hold a special place in Arizona volleyball lore for years to come.

Glass was a three-time AVCA All-American during her collegiate playing years as an outside hitter and is the University of Arizona leader of kills and third in conference history. Perhaps one of her top honors was earning National Freshman Player of the Year props in 2002. She joined the U.S. Women’s National Team in 2007 and earned a silver medal at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. She has played internationally in Italy, Puerto Rico, Turkey and Russia.
