Following the success of their lacrosse program, Athletic Evolution introduced two new Team Evolution programs, one of them being volleyball. To lead the program, Athletic Evolution found Nicole Trudeau, a former Division I Setter at Providence College who has 27 years of experience in the game.
Team Evolution is a year-round training program, open to girls between the ages of 8-18. With a competitive atmosphere, Team Evolution works to help players develop technical and tactical skills. The programs focus on giving athletes enough court time to improve as well as focused athletic training, such as injury prevention, strength and conditioning, and agility.
“Athletic Evolution continues to lead the local industry in athletic development” said Erik Kalyonides, President of Athletic Evolution, in a press release. “Team Evolution takes hard work that happens off the field and court, combines it with sports skills and develops the area’s most dedicated athletes, bringing them a completely different level of play.”
Athletic Evolution also announced, in addition to volleyball, they are starting up a field hockey program. It will be lead by Tina McDavitt, Head Coach of Field Hockey at Tufts University.
Team Evolution is located in an Athletic Evolution training site in Woburn, Mass. For more information and to register for the summer sessions or open tryouts visit athletic-evolution.com/Teamevo.
